A small coaster brings a quiet sense of change to the everyday table. The walnut stays still, the nacre seems to move with the light, and a butterfly brings the two together.
The butterfly represents transformation, freedom and new beginnings. Mother-of-pearl changes with the light, echoing that sense of transformation.
Avoid prolonged soaking and wipe dry after use. A specific heat-resistance rating has not been confirmed.

Luodian is Chinese mother-of-pearl inlay: shell is selected, cut and arranged into a surface. Its shifting light comes from the material; its composition comes from the artisan.
